The Office of Student Engagement is constantly searching for current medical students with a  commitment to serve in their community by volunteering to be a mentor for a premed student. If you are interested in becoming a Student Mentor for a Scholar in Health or you have questions, please email, ose@kumc.edu.

Medical students selected to be mentors will need to commit for the entire duration that the scholar is in the program. Student mentors are expected to meet with their mentee, share resources and networks, and offer tips on how to navigate medical school.
