Primary Care Workshop

Better understand the life of a doctor through KU School of Medicine's Primary Care Workshop. If accepted, you'll be part of a physician-led experience that illuminates some of the skills doctors use regularly.

In this one-day workshop, students will participate in a physician-led Problem-Based Learning (PBL) group that illustrates a clinical office visit and in breakout sessions that provide individualized learning about suturing and aspects of the physical exam.

Presentations throughout the day include navigating the doctor's office visit, professionalism, patient confidentiality and maximizing your shadowing experience. You'll also have the opportunity to visit with current medical students and tour the campus.

Registration has closed for the January 2024 Primary Care Workshop on the Wichita campus.

Please check back in April for our workshop this spring.
