Welcome! The Dong lab is a part of the Department of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Immunology at KU Medical Center. Our lab integrates molecular genetics, biochemistry, imaging, animal models and multi-omics approaches to study how the bacterial pathogen Clostridoides difficile adapts, persists and drives disease in the gut.
