Schedules
Each year, residents rotate in several different areas of dermatology including the following:

First-year residents spend time at KU, VA, and Children's Mercy Hospital, with one week of Mohs clinic.

Second-year residents spend time at KU, VA, and Children's Mercy Hospital, along with four weeks of Mohs Clinic, and a one-month Consult/Pathology rotation

Third-year residents spend time at KU, VA, and Children's Mercy Hospital, along with four weeks of Mohs Clinic, and a one-month Consult/Pathology rotation
-
Third-year residents receive four weeks of elective time to pursue their specific academic/clinical interests
-
Second and third-year residents take consults during the day while they are on a Consult/Pathology Rotation
-
Call is divided among the first- and second-year residents in one-week intervals
-
All residents have resident continuity clinics
-
All residents receive regular exposure to surgery and cosmetic clinics including the use of botulinum toxin, fillers, and laser treatments
-
Residents have ample opportunity to receive extra exposure to their clinical interests if requested
