Residency practiceAt the University of Kansas, we train highly qualified physicians to provide emergency healthcare in Kansas, our region, and beyond. The residency program is a three-year academic Emergency Medicine program primarily training at The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, a 1025 bed tertiary care medical center and level 1 trauma center. Additional training at Children's Mercy Hospital in KC, a regional pediatric medical center and pediatric level 1 trauma center, and community emergency medicine at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS.
