Clinical Affiliates
Learn about the clinical locations where you will gain valuable, hands-on experience.
Clinical experience is an integral part of the curriculum in the Department of Respiratory Care Education. Respiratory care students begin clinical rotations starting in their second semester of the program.
Clinical rotations give the student exposure to patient care and experience in performing respiratory care procedures. Students start by learning and practicing the fundamental procedures and then progress to more advanced clinical skills.
KU partners with several clinical affiliate sites to provide students with diverse clinical experiences.
