You could be a great fit for the accredited three-semester program if you're currently working as radiologic technologist, diagnostic medical sonographer or have a degree in a health science field. It's also well-suited to medical technologists, registered nurses or those looking to change fields or specialize in nuclear medicine.

Expert Faculty and Clinical Partnerships

In the program, you'll receive training at the highest level thanks to faculty who are also experienced clinicians actively engaged in clinical responsibilities and providing the latest in health care to patients at multiple sites of The University of Kansas Health System. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in rotations through a local radiopharmacy and a children’s hospital.

Offered via a collaboration between the University of Kansas and The University of Kansas Health System's Department of Radiology, the program was first available as an academic program in the School of Health Professions in 2000.

Upon successful completion of the program, you'll receive a certificate from the University of Kansas and be eligible to take the national registry examinations given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
