Hearing loss affects individuals across the lifespan. Left untreated, hearing loss can substantially limit the development of speech and language in children and can significantly reduce quality of life in adults.

The goal of our research in the Auditory Research Laboratory is to improve techniques that are available to audiologists for screening and diagnosing hearing loss and auditory pathology. We believe better diagnostic tools will lead to improved interventions for children and adults with hearing loss.
