Working with DELTAMED LLC, Dr. Gregory Gan and the IAMI team have recently been funded by NIH-NIDCR for a one year Phase I STTR grant
The title of their grant is Use of apatinib-nanosponge conjugate to reduce post-radiation induced oral cavity and salivary fibrosis.
The focus of this work is for the treatment of radiation induced fibrosis in head and neck cancer patients. This grant funding will support evaluation of lead compounds in a nanosponge delivery platform.
