About KEE

The benefits of the KEE system range from learning about careers in health care to gaining valuable research experience.

• The KEE system provides observational and hands-on research opportunities or observational experiences in clinical environments.
• Learners must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or DACA recipient aged 16 or older to participate in the system.
• Minors, those less than 18 years of age, must have the permission of their parent(s) or guardian(s) to participate.
• Background checks are required for all system participants aged 18 and older.

Update on Campus Visitors

• KEE Clinical Shadowing Experiences: Due to the high volume of applications, applicants who are interested in shadowing with a physician or advanced practitioner will need to secure a sponsor (professional they will shadow) prior to applying for an experience. Reminder, all clinical shadowing experiences are limited to a single-day experience for a maximum of 12 hours. • Please be advised that per health system policy, as of August 7, 2023, the health system no longer requires the COVID vaccine as a condition of employment.  This applies to students, volunteers, etc.

• The normal 30-day lead time should be expected due to the anticipated volume.
