Caitlin M. Winder DO is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kansas Health Systems. She has her dual board certifications in General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She received her medical degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her General Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent fellowship at the University of Kansas Health Systems. She practices both inpatient and outpatient Child Psychiatry at Marillac, the University of Kansas Health System's 60+ bed Child Psych hospital. She is also certified in both adult and adolescent electroconvulsive therapy. Her other areas of interest include anxiety disorder, trauma related disorders, and first onset psychosis. She is passionate about teaching all levels of trainees and mentoring residents and fellows to graduate well rounded, knowledgeable, and empathic physicians.
