Cory Lundgren, DCLS, MLS(ASAP)cm

Professional Background

Cory Lundgren, DCLS, MLS(ASCP)^cm, is a clinical assistant professor in the KU Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He joined the faculty of the School of Health Professions in July 2025.

Lundgren completed a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science with minors in microbiology and chemistry from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. He earned his doctorate in clinical laboratory science from the University of Kansas.

Before he returned to KU to serve as a faculty member, Lundgren held the position of hematology education coordinator with Sanford Health in Fargo. He also previously served as a laboratory technical supervisor with the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Most recently, Lundgren taught courses in hematology as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
