Graduate Faculty Rosters

An up-to-date roster of KUMC Graduate Faculty appointments can be found in the Graduate Studies Database.  KUMC Staff and Faculty can request access to view this list by contacting the Office of Graduate-Postdoctoral Studies and Assessment at gradstudiesoffice@kumc.edu.  Non-KUMC employees may request an excel version of the list via the same email address.

Graduate Faculty Appointment Status 

Graduate Faculty status is required for eligibility to serve on a graduate student's examination or defense committee. Recommendations for graduate faculty status are submitted by graduate degree-granting departments through Workday. Graduate Faculty are appointed with specific privileges, which are defined in detail in the Academic Catalog.

Appointment Process

Submission of a recommendation for appointment to the Graduate Faculty is made using the Add Academic Appointment business process in Workday.  Only designated administrators in each academic unit may submit these requests as Workday security does not allow faculty to make changes to other faculty records.
