New students seeking a graduate research discipline in one of the six Basic Science Departments (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology/Toxicology, and Physiology) and the Neuroscience Graduate Program first enter into the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS). Summer Research Training Program
This program is primarily for medical students during the summer before or after Year-1. A few undergraduates are admitted each year. Both basic and clinical science research training are available.
